So last night I had a dream about the Pikes Peak Writers Conference. I was scheduled to be the moderator for a couple of the workshops (a job that entails introducing the faculty member, moderating the questions, keeping time, etc.) I kept sleeping in, though, and missing the workshops I was supposed to moderate. The faculty members were upset & I was embarrassed. I wonder what this says about my feelings about going to conference this year.
I'm excited about conference. I feel, for the first time, like I have a good manuscript to share. Can't wait to see what the agents I'm pitching have to say. I plan to speak with Donald Maass and Sarah Megibow (Sarah's with Nelson Literary Agency.)
